Ocho Rios, By Land, By Sea, By Air

Posted on 06.28.17

Ocho Rios, By Land, By Sea, By AirJamaica is the home of beautiful seas, lovely sands, wonderful people, tasty food, diversity of flora, fauna, and cultures. To many others, it is most well known as the home of Bob Marley. Jamaica is located south of Cuba, west of Hispaniola, and it is an island country located in the Caribbean Sea. An old world, Jamaica didn’t obtain its independence until 1962. Today, Jamaica is a popular destination year round for vacationers from around the world. One of the many lovely places you can visit in Jamaica is the town Ocho Rios, which is located along the northern coast, in the Saint Ann parish. Ocho Rios is a popular port with cruise ships. In Ocho Rios, you can explore the area by land, by sea, or by air!

By land, you can travel along the roads, taking in the sights along the way to Dunn’s River Falls— a cascading waterfall that flows along 600 ft. Sightseeing by land can be done through numerous venues! You can book a tour with a bus, a jeep, take an ATV tour, a bike tour, a horseback riding tour, a guided camel tour of a plantation, or you can take a walking tour!

If you would rather play in the sea, sun, and the surf, there are many options to explore: Catamaran Cruise, sailing, snorkeling, White River Valley tubing, Negril Beach Tour will take you along the shore, Matha Brae River rafting, or you can go kayaking. If you are looking for a a lifetime experience by sea, go swim with the dolphins!

If your goals are a bit loftier, try a new adventure! Reach new heights in a chairlift that takes you above the canopy, zipline through the jungle, or go bobsledding through the rainforest!

Of course, if your preferences are a bit low key, you can always sip a drink, listen to the music, eat scrumptious food, and contemplate the exact shade of blue of the sea before you.
